Re: Dilema....honda accord vs. 240sx

My x boyfriend has a 240sx and i have to admit those are some sweet cars. they are really good at drifting , but it is hard as anything to find parts for those cheap and if you need some they cost you an arm at a dealership. I would stick with the accord that will be a hot car if you fix it up right.

first of a car isnt good at drifting the driver is what is good at drifting but the cars are good for drifting if thats what u mean. and oh my god that is the worst advice i have ever heard how can u tell someone to choose a accord over the 240 i mean ive told people not to buy 240's before but thats just cause i want them for myself cause i dont want to see other people ruin them but accord over 240? thats crazy

lol sidewayz. telling people not to get 240's cuz you want it? kinda selfish but funny nevertheless.

but you and and escortgal have a point. yea escort, it'd be way cheaper, but i'm sure you've heard the saying "you get what you pay for." plus this guy is tryin to turn an ugly old accord into a skyline wannabe. bleh.......anyways though, like i said already, you get what you pay for for, and in my opinion, a 240 will always be more like a skyline vs. an accord, although a 240 will never be inline 6, twin turbo, 4WD, ATESSA having beast that GT-R's are. i'd say go with the 240, its a hell of alot better car plus i'd think you'd get more "respect" rather than having a fake ass skyline/accord. just save up your lunch money and pay up like the rest of us, lol.

Re: Dilema....honda accord vs. 240sx

if i want to be considered a ricer the keep your accord and follow escortgal's advise if u want to ride around and respect yourself then go w/ the 240

Re: Dilema....honda accord vs. 240sx

I've caught myself talking bad about my 240 to friends because they expressed way to much interest in it.....and I don't want them to buy one. Most of my friends don't deserve one, because they want wings and coffee cans. while I want real results. There are 4 of us that have decently powered 240's in my area. And that's too many as it is. godd thing we each live one town away....hehe terrorize the village as I like to say.......muahaha.

Logikal I want some gd cookies!!!

first off the 1990's accords were pretty decent for an accord, the best ones basicaly. You could swap in a H22 motor, its the easiest honda swap to do actually(the lowest model H22 runs 190hp). They make japanese coilovers for it, anti-roll bars, brake upgrades, STB, LSD, and with the H22 theres a lot you could do to that. The body kit, well if you have any sort of taiste, the average body kit for an Accord look like shit in a porto potty. Those r33 ripoff bumpers actually are about the best looking aero kit for the accord. You could do this just because it looks the nicest(after all you are putting on a body kit for looks), but I agree to do something like that and then Call it a Skyline Conversion or some kinda odd Skyline kit Car or some shit is fucking retarded.

in the end though, with pretty much normal modding even, you still have a 4 door FWD car with a Honda motor....could be fun for AWHILE properly modded though...still FWD...
