Ok I searched the forum to look at what issues others had posted about like mine, I found some similar though nothing the exact same. We have a 2005 chrysler town and country. My mother and I were sleeping and about 1am the panic button on her car started sounding. The car has been parked in the same spot since 6pm and the key was zipped inside a pocket inside my mom's purse. She hit the panic button and it did go off and then she hit the lock on the FOB to lock the car and the horn sounded that the car was locked. Then not even a minute later the car honked like it had been locked from the FOB but the key was back in my mom's purse. Now what was weirder was that our nieghbor who lives across the street has a 2010 Honda civic and their panic alarm started going off about 20 mins after ours had been turned off and after the nieghbor turned off the car their car locked also after they had locked it with the fob and put it away. Does anyone have any idea what could have made both cars freak out?
