That should put you up against the Nissan GT1 and Toyota GT ONE
and for the first time today I was also up against the Renown 787.

I beat all three, no ramming either.

Just want to see what other people have done.

I believe this to be the most challenging exercise.

have you done the ''profesional'' mode yet?

its where you go to the difficulty selection screen and press r1 and l1...or r2 and l2, i cant remember and it will give you a profesional mode (provided you have completed all arcade races in hard mode that is)

however i feel that this is easyer than the hard mode...simply becuase i end up winning by ludicrous margins...

Where can I choose professional mode?
I have completed all the Arcade races.

I know some folks say arcade is easy and it is. But what I have seen is when you pick the Oreca Viper or Goodwrench Vette the computer puts you up against the Toy Gt One and Nissan GT1 and that can give you a real challenge seeing how you start in 6th place, and those are mid engine cars (nimble and quick).

Hey asaenz, have you tried the Toyota Vitz race in professional series (in the 1player mode)? That's actually a lot harder than most people think cuz you're pitted up against all the cars of the same kind (Toyoto Vitz RS i think) and all of them are modded in the same way (full mods to eveything). Thus, in this race there is no power advantage or power/weight ratio advantage. It all depends on driving skill.

By the way, professional mode is accessed by pressing both R1 and L1 on the difficulty selection screen (the one that says easy medium hard). Have fun!

Da--ang you guys know alot more than me. I guess what I think is hard is not really that hard

the thing about this is that it's so easy to top the AI in driving style, it's way too cautious coming into the turns... it's dropping to like 10mph+ below the fastest turn speed...

try low turbo charged cars and you'll end up in a race with orca vipers and stuff on pro. that is the real challenge of arcade mode

You want to hear about a hard race. Take a Miata, with just an oil change, and put that in the Endurance race of Roadsters or whatever it is that only takes Miatas. Now that is hard. I won, but just barely. That was one heck of a close race, me and the the first place dude went in for a pit, and I just happened to get out just maybe 2 secs ahead on the last lap, and thats all that helped me. I never want to have to do that again. If you make one mistake, its basically over because they just leave you. It doesn't let you mod your car in this one, and the other cars seem modded.

i make 1.15.759 on monaco with polyphony001 (i don't know the model)
just applying my gear ratios and i wonder if anyone had done such a lap time. it is faster than montoya's record: 1.15.8?? in 2001 or 2002 i don't remember now.
is there any tournaments we can join?
