Mazda 929 Problems
Hello I have a Mazda 929 1988. The car seem like the transmission was going bad. It was having trouble going into second gear. But from 0-40 no problem and then after the hard shift no problem. Just yesterday I stopped at a store shut the car off and when I came back out it wouldnt start. After about 20 minutes of trying to start it with no crank at all. It cranked a little bit but didnt start. I then tried to start it right up again quickly and it started and got me home. Once home the car didnt start anymore. I thought it might be the battery but the battery was good. I would gladly take any advice on where to start looking for problems. Thanks

Re: Mazda 929 Problems
Hi!
This happened to me last week! I was delivering a pizza.. and i got back in my car, and it wouldn't start!! how i fixed it... was.. I opened the bonnett and looked at the battery.. the plugs that connected to the battery weren't making any connection with the battery... so I started hitting the side of the plug that connects to the battery.. and it was getting tighter.. and it started after that... then when i got back to the shop.. i went to start it again.. and it would not start!! so then i had to get a little spanner and tightened up the bolt on the side of the plug... and i never had anymore trouble with it after that... try tightening the bolts on either side of the plugs... good luck! |
