It looks like Max Power is going to be dropping all Japanese cars and focusing on Europeans Good news for me, maybe I'll get a photoshoot this year!

Although I like to read up on the japanese scene just as much, there are enough H/A mags out there that it shouldn't be a problem

Jason,
if you were closer to the East Coast, I could probably do a photoshoot on your car for Overboost.com. We've been looking for a few good Euro cars to run as feature articles. We've got a bunch of Zs, Supras, and RX7s available for shoots, but we haven't found much as far as Euro cars. I was lined up to do Rob's green Jetta (seen in Max Power recently) but he sold his car LOL

wow! that would be cool, I was hoping to drive to the east coast for a VW show (Waterfest) in late July, but funds are arguing otherwise.. I hope to spend some more on the car over the next several months, and if I ever am able to travel that way I'll be sure to let you know!

BTW - I love overboost and check it out regularly, I was upset over the new membership thing tho

Isn't there alrady enough mag's covering VW's? I do like Europian cars (at least then ones in Europe and not the cheap crap the send to the States), but I think there are more magazine's coviner Europian cars and not enough of the Asian market.

Look for the magazine produced here in Anaheim (www.importtuner.com I think)! VERY good coverage of the import scene:smoker2:

Max Power has a good balance of busty blondes & Euro cars... good for a smile at the stand, but at $10 an issue its a little pricey.

Re: New respect for MAXpower..

I been a Max Powers Entusiast for years! I only get copies from the UK direct. The price I pay for them is $20cdn and its well worth it. They come in packages with free stuff not like here in Canada or US stands. They come with a couple or few magazines. Babes and Cars what more does a guy need? Nudity in a car mag is like peanutbutter and jelly. Damn they got neat cars out there!
