01 sts airbags
I have a 01 sts and the front airbags deploied.. I have used ones from pic-a-part..do i need to replace , reset, or reprogram anything other then the airbags.........thanks carl

You will also need to replace the SDM and the seatbelt pretensioners. The SDM will need to be set up/programed. Also, If their is an impact sensor in the front of the vehicle, it/they will need to be replaced.

what is SDM and were is it located. and would you know were the senser is . i looked on the internet but no luck finding it yet....thanks carl

The SDM (sensing and diagnostic module) is located under the carpet under the passenger ft seat. The front impact sensor is internal to the SDM.
