Re: Were do you buy initial D cards for the arcade?

Are you talking about the big packs of cards you can buy to reload the machines, or are you talking about just buying an individual one to play with?

For the bulk cards, you'd probably have to talk to your nearest arcade or an arcade machine dealer. Or you could try contacting the game company at their website.

For individual play cards, you must buy them from the arcade machine itself. You'll get a prompt telling you how to do it when you put in enough credits to play. Over here it's $1 to play, and another $1 to purchase a card.

Re: Were do you buy initial D cards for the arcade?

i don't think he knows "how to purchase one" though.
1.)put in a credit
2.)press the "start" button once the screen asks you if you have a card or not
3.)next screen will appear
4.)it will say put in x-amount of coins to purchase a card, do so.
5.)car menu will pop-up... choose car + trans + tune + name.

if it doesn't ask you for your name, you did it wrong.

Just hope the machine doesn't eat your cards up. I lost three FDs that way...

I'm not sure if you can actually buy the cards here. I'm pretty sure you have to be a dealer or something to be able to purchase them. You might have to talk to your local arcade manager about purchasing the darn things.

Hey, Initial D Arcade Stage is a very popular game, so if you can find an arcade around there, you could be in luck. You never know.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for card dealers.

Re: Were do you buy initial D cards for the arcade?

Well, ever since I moved from Kansas, I've been far away from the nearest machine. The closest one I think is about 3 hours away in Coralville, IA. I am going back to Kansas for Spring Break, and I'll play the living crap outta the game in that week!

Sorry, but I cannot get cards right now unless you are prepared to wait a loooooooong time. Plus I don't even know how much they are.

Sadly, Ebay is probably your best bet.

I quit that place when they demanded for my credit card...when I was 14. Right.
