Well....you can always go for the big-daddy V6

I would think an H22 could go in...seeing as how similar the Accord and Oddessy are...

The newest oddeseys are so phat.

a silver one, dropped, w/ stock rims powdercoated black would be soooo baller!

Well if the odyssey doesnt weigh much more than a prelude then i would just get shocks and springs for the prelude. Were you planning on lowering it?

I thought about trying to lower it but i doubt i will; I just need some added stiffness. I talked to someone who said that using any of the kits made for the Accord would work. Assuming this is true (correct me if it is not) what kits are good (once again, if you know the prices would be cool too)? thanks.

the engine is based on that of the accord so i'm assuming it would be like any other h22-accord swap, so the tranny should be fine.

can you even buy an odessy that is a manual? If you put a H22a in there you are gonna want a 5 speed, autos are no fun at all, then youll have a good time putting inslave cylinder and the pedal and the shift linkage and everything.

anyone here see the www.hpiracing.com minivan? pretty sure it was a honda its been awhile since ive seen it but it looks great

HPI is a R/C company

anywho about the topic not to get off of it but if you want speed I would go for a older I think it was dodge caravan "sp" some "rare" came with a DSM turbo engine from the eclipes if you do a search on the web you will find a few mini vans that can run 12s

I think it would be cool to have a all honda speed van but I don't think it would be as fast as we think

anyone know the specs on some of the older V6 caravans?
HP/Torque?

Jeff

Could you please explain/elaborate on that last part?

well, If you have an automatic right now, you have 2 pedals, and no slave cylinder, or anytthing that goes with a stick. whejn you get an H22A, you are gona want to drive a stick, so you will have to drill a hole in the firewall and put the slave cylinder, get a pedal assembly and mount it in there, run the hydro lines to the tranny, youll have to get the shjift linkage working from the stick itself to the tranny, stuf like that.

Lightbulb

ah, it becomes clear now. that does sound like a royal pain but i'm sure it is do-able. i guess now i'm gonna have to find a place with some real competent characters who can figure this whole thing out, because i certainly don't have the know-how to do all that.

well, once on an auto, I cant remember what it was, but they were also available in a stick, and if you looked at the firewall, therew was like a template where the slave cylinder would go, looked almosyt like it would pop out, I dont think an oddesy wa svailable in stick, but if it ewas look for that, amnd you can get the pedal assemble outta a wrecked stick oddesy, otherwse you have to figure somthing else out

i'm about 99% sure they never made a manual odyssey, but there's always that 1% chance that i could be wrong. anyhow, assuming there was never a manual ody, what could be done? is it still possible (within somewhat reasonable financial realms) to convert it to a manual?
