I really like the sportiness of these little beasts. The looks is definately a "everything you need, nothing you don't" feel

I have a Bavaria, which is very similar to the 3.0, as you may know. I love it, it's the best car I have ever owned. I am thinking about putting a turbo on it (mines got an M30 engine out of a '84 735) which would make it among the fastest senior sixes in existence, although David Woodham might disagree with that statement.

i say you should turbo it!....assuming that the car is up to the power/speed mechanically. that would be an absolute rocket if done right, and a rarity at that.:alien:

I Love the CS series! They actually have very little in common with Bavarias besides engines. They're developed from a smaller older chassis, the semi funky 2000cs. If you can find one without too much rust go for it. you will have a beautiful coupe that is appreciating in value.

I've been looking for a 3.0 for some time, :smoka: but I live in the north-east and well, they're all full of rust. :smoka: Maybe I'll take a trip down to California someday, stick a big'ol spoiler in the front, and drive it back:smoka:

Am thinking about a cs 3.0 for my first bmw. It would be a 2nd car for me, and I don't mind doing a bit of work on it from time to time, but what kind of maintanance would I be looking at? I don't want to become a weekend mechanic and I'd like to think I could take it 300 miles without any breakdowns. What do you think? Also, what do you think of this compared to a, say, 2002?
