Removing Eagle '92 front rotors

This Eagle I bought is in need of serious brake job, replacing rotors front and back.

Finally got the right socket for axel nut 32mm, but I'm stuck getting off the plate that's in front of the rotor. I assume it's just stuck on there and in need of a serious whacking, but any help here? see pics:

Re: Removing Eagle '92 front rotors

Whack it off. But, not too forcefully. Use a prybar or piece of wood between rotor and hub face, and tap alla round, should free itself.

But, since I never worked on the system U pic.'ed, I'd be very careful, there may be a bearing involved.

let me know if it a talon, vision, etc. I may have a link that might help ya out

Re: Removing Eagle '92 front rotors

thanks for the reply

this is an 1992 summit hatchback 1.5l

I tried again another day and I think I got the hub further off, but no luck.

I'm going to rent a puller from autozone and try that, I was reading a manual at the library, saying "do not pry or bang" the hub off, use special "chrysler" tool
