Re: Rsx_s

You'll find it plugged into the side of your stock intake tube. Can't miss it. If you look in my gallery at pic #9 you can just see the outline where it plugs into my SRI right above the positive battery terminal.

Thanks, I'm about to install a RevChip and didn't screw things up. I've got the air intake that's somewhat like yours, only it's a K&N, so everything should be cool. PHA

Re: Rsx_s

I'm sorry, but I have to say this....the RevChip's gain is only going to be psychological. Its just like those other products around 25-75 dollars promising large gains in hp, tq, and mileage. If products like those really worked they would be in at least ONE OEM application; they would be in at least one racing RSX; they would be a popular mod. People are willing to spend hundreds on intake mani gaskets, torque dampers, etc. and yet none of them have one of these. In fact in my 4 years of owning an RSX and being on the internet thats the first time i've even heard of that company, I had to google it.

Say what you want, I've installed it, and the change wasn't dramatic but it did make a differnce in the lower rpm range, with a little quicker throttle responce and that's all I was really looking for. What lead me to buy it was a friend of installed one in his Explorer he swears buy it.
The only way you could really prove it's worth would be to put the car on a dyno, which I have niether the time or the money for. But anyway thanks for the imput. PHA

Re: Rsx_s

Consumer Reports has performed their own dynos, and my points above also prove my point.

I think your friend experienced a psychological increase in power.

But anyways, good luck and have fun with the car

Not a problem down here in Fla. Just keep it between the lines, leave your radar detector on , and don't do more than 10 over ;-)

Re: Rsx_s

IAT = Intake Air Temperature. It should be on the side of the intake like 777 said.
