Timing Tensioners

I was told by a dealer that my timing system tensioner bolts are being "pushed out" causing the timing casing to "bow out" or push out and hitting the alternator belt. This is a Honda accord. I've been told by many mechanics that this isn't possible, so I thought I would ask on here.
