ECM location on 97 Galant !!

In the journey to fix my non starting galant, I have began looking for the ECM. So far I have only found the tranny computer (in center console). Anyone that could help, I would be greatly appreciative. The car is a 1997 Galant ES 4 cyl. Auto. Thanks. - Don
