09 Prius turns itself on

Hello everyone, I am new here and looking for some possible ideas or even answers. So I just recently traded my older Prius to my mom for her previous one as she recently upgraded to a newer Prius herself. However, lately I have noticed that the car decides to turn itself on after I turn it off. I have noticed that even when I do press the park button & then press the power button to turn it off, it will turn itself back on.

I am wondering if this is due to the key fob battery going bad or if it has to do with the 12v battery itself (the 12v battery has just recently been replaced, so it's definitely still under warranty). Something else I would like to add is that I have replaced the same battery in my previous Prius vehicle with absolutely no issues afterwards. Let me also be clear in saying that I am definitely not talking about the rechargeable cell battery unit.

One significant thing about this issue is the fact that when it turns itself on and I press the power button to turn it off, it seems to do a complete reset in terms of the MFD in terms of all the settings (clock, a/c temp, etc). I find it very annoying that I have to change the temp every single day because of this issue.

Thanks for your time everyone.
