A young (or young-looking under 40) guy can do quite well driving a VERY clean, stock C4-6 Corvette, especially a convertible in the summertime. No gold chains, heavy cologne or disco culture clothing, just a regular guy in a nice shiny car with a clean interior and always perfectly detailed rims/tires/etc. Entry level is about $10,000-$30,000 plus higher-than-average insurance and gas bills than you may be accustomed to.

Most young girls can't tell the years apart. DON'T talk about the car at all (unless she asks). If she does ask, give her ONE line answers, like "It's fun to drive" or "I's got twice as many seats as I need for my household" (useful if you also ride a motorcycle!). Remember that it's just an accessory and YOU'RE the package.

Having both is pretty awesome! But I think car is a great investment, not that I am saying girls are not because they are precious gems. So my advice is go for the run having your girl next to you.

I'd have to say when I had my Audi A6 it drew a lot of attention. More snobs than ever. Stereotyping types of people. I laugh because they have no clue! Caught up in the trends and what everybody else is doing. Again I just laugh. I can only image something like european sports car or something.

Euro hatches eg Golf/A3 etc, or any post 90's Audi which are all pretty cheap on the 2nd hand market. New - again, euro hatches scream to women "i'm not a car nerd" even if it is a Golf R/RS3/Focus ST, which are great bargain performance cars yet only a rare few women could spot the difference.
Agree with sub006 but that applies not just to vette's but most cars if it's clean inside and out althougjh I would worry for the vette shouting "mid-life-crisis".
