Re: My car will not crank over

Post a good quality photo(s) and maybe it will be more clear. I don't know your car to tell you if a missing relay should or should not be there. Some relays are not needed in some models.

Re: My car will not crank over

I GOT IT WORKING!! finally got it working.. bought some wire and electrical terminals plugged it in at the fusible link in the relay box got dash lights now and the starter works the car started after about 10 trys and i dont need the efi relay like i thought i did. thanks for all the help

Just a quick question i don't think this car has been started in like 3 years when i tried starting it, it was trying to start but just woulden't start so i let it rest for 4 min than tried again and again than i just held the throttle right down and it finally started also my brother said a bunch of black liquid spat out of the carb dont really care cause it runs fine now but just wondering so any idea why it took so many trys to get it started?

Re: My car will not crank over

Probably your gas has gone bad. Empty what you can and replace it with fresh gas to keep you from having trouble starting it.

In your car, before you start it when it's cold. Push down the accelerator to the floor once and let it up. Turn the engine over without touching the gas pedal.
