Too late. My dad used to have a 1991 560SEL...that thing was bomb, and moved along quite well for its size...if he hadn't gotten rid of it, I would have gotten it when I turned 16.

I don't know about that. Remember, I made 377 RWHP very recently. Tune alone would get me to that magic 400 number. Of course, this would be before swap. Wanna run 'em after??

Either way, hell of a race it would be. I would enjoy finally getting beat by a Mustang. Not too many races with them, and I just don't ever seem to line up with the fast ones.

You would have rather had a 91 Mercedes instead of a brand new Maxima? I'm not sure if I agree with you.

I'd take a 91 Benz over a brand new Maxima, and Im not a huge Benz fan. To much body roll, like a fat chick at a rave.

Yes, yes, this is a late comment, but hey I haven't been on all day. And you detroit should learn to read better. Have you heard of Hooked on Phonics?

BTW, Dampachi, how's that deal coming along on your SC? And how long do you expect until you can actually purchase/install/take pics for us?L8...

You must remember that the Mercedes 560SEL was $85,000 new in 1991...so in reality, it is a much nicer car than the maxima...plus, shit, it's a mercedes...I also got addicted to that 5.5L V8 thrust...and it had seat warmers all the way around

It even handled quite well for being a boat of car, and with wimpy 205/65-15 tires...I'm sure it would have handled a lot better with some 17-inch AMG wheels on it

As soon as I get all my 'said and done' quotes. I'll choose the best. That's when I'll have pics/videos. Could be this week. Could be next week..could be next month. All depends on how soon I get the price I wanna hear. And you should come over here, Mr Luos..you too, civracer. We can have a 3 way race. We'll give civracer a 3 car headstart.

Oh god gimmie a break, i just ordered my smaller pulley, that will put me at 6.5lbs of boost and around 215Hp at the crank. Not to mention a high 13 second very low 14 second car. And you cant beat me with driving skills, i got an automatic. Id gladly like to see you come to michigan and race me. Id love to laugh in your face as my cavi whomps on you. Right now i have raced 4 2000+ Mustang GT's from dead stops to rolls at over 70MPH, and each time ive been dead even with them. Dont think youg ot anything on me. Not to mention you wont be low 14's, you will be lucky to be in the mid to high 14's.
