95 tracker white smoke high idle

Seems like there has been white smoke for some time but...
On the way home the other day all of the sudden lots and lots of smoke like we were a burning ball of tracker shooting down the road
Temp gauges normal from now on as far as i noticed (i think they are busted)
the smoke calmed down after a bit but would flare up from time to time

lets say 12/15 min later still driving gets to top of hill near house and starts ticking bad i turn it off and coasted to my driveway it would not restart 1/4 mile walk home later get dinner started go back it started and drove up to house

still starts and runs im not driving it any more... but idles real high 2k ish and a constant stream of white smoke out exaust

antifreeze mostly gone

no sign of coolant in the oil

Should i order the head gasket now or is there another possibility?

If the smoke is WHITE and dissipates right away.....head gasket or cracked head. If the smoke is GRAY/WHITE and drifts away in the wind....piston rings.

yeah gasket on its way
man this head is a pain to remove
all 4 plug boots stuck and i mean stuck on the plugs
not to mention the cam is covering the bolts on the pass side
i mean who designed this stuff
