1992 2wd five speed tracker won't run

My dad was coming home from work in his tracker last night and it just died like you turned the key off. Now if it sits for an hour or so you can crank it and it will run for about ten seconds and die. I automatically thought fuel pump but pressure is good and you can hear the pump running and relay operating. Fire is good and timing is dead on. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

could have IGN control module checked. if it gets too hot, it could short causing the plugs to die. hope this helps

Its not doing it when it gets hot. It can sit over night and when you get in it to start it, it will run for about 10 or so seconds and die just like you cut the key off. Its getting plenty of fire. I am totally lost.
