Drivers door window problem.

Hey, Need help with door window (323i sedan). The window rolls down fine but when you close it hesitates and clunks as it goes up. From asking around it could be the regulator or the motor. I tried to take the door panel of but it seems to have hidden mounts I can't seem to find hence can't get the panel off. Any suggestions or threads to remove panel also any advise on the problem as well.
I called the local BMW dealer and its $400 to replace regulator...OUCH. They are not sure of problem until they open up the door and take a look inside.

Re: Drivers door window problem.

Have you removed the screws that live below the door handle?

Yeah, it seems to get hung up on the right side mount of the handle/arm rest. i can't find any mount bolts for that part of the handle.
