Solara Rims
ok i got an 04 solara v6 SLE and i was wondering whats the max size and thikness it can take without losing manuvability, # of max passengers, and such
im curently looking at momo Vantage and im not to sure if the solara can do the 8.5 thickness and if it can can get the 20

If your going with 20's do 20x7.5.... your offset will be anywhere from 35-45, this is without rubbing or rolling your fenders.
I would not recomend riding 20's unless your doing it for show, becasue the ride will be alot bumpers. For best results for both show and performance go with 17's, they will give you the best handling, road performance and looks without sacrificing ride quality. If your able to get them in 18x8.5 40 +/-5 you should be fine, meaning you can go up to 45 or down to 35 in the offset, anything else your either gonna have to roll the fenders due to rubbing or gonna have bad ride quailty

If i were you i would go to a 19" on that solara verses a 17 or 18 inch. In the 19 you can still get a p245/35r19 under the car. This is the set up i am running on my 01 solara.
