parts searching

I am searching for a set of inverted front forks for a project that I am building. I need the tripple trees, as well as the forks themselves.
Maybe someone totaled a bike or knows of parts for sale, I would gladly pay a finder's fee for any referals.
Thanks,

Re: parts searching

ebay.com

U want long travel or shjort travel? 'gsxr forks' would be a good search for short travel. 'rc,kx,yz forks' for long travel

Re: parts searching

I thought of using forks from a CR/XR, a YZ or something like that, but I really need the performance of dual discs. I can't say it will be a chopper, but it will not be a corner-carver either. I feel that a GSX-R/FZ-R is the style that I need, but it might be a little too short.

For now the bike is on hold, I scored a 69 Camaro that I will be working on this winter. The bike might be a project for next summer, nevertheless, I will still be scrounging bike parts.
Thanks,
