Painting...
I'm going to be painting my first car soon and I'm in need of a gun. Does anyone know which ones are really good?

Re: Painting...
actually, believe it or not, a cheap gun usually isnt what kills a paint job as much as a poorly maintained gun... harbor freight sells decent guns for as cheap as 25 bucks, and for a primer gun, you cant beat that lol, use a regular gun with a larger tip for the primer and a smaller hvlp gun for the actual color/clearcoat/whatever the hell topcoat is being used...
hint: air lines like to bleed water from the connection to your inline filter, and if it is at the end of the hose hooked up to your gun, it will drip water all over the paint you just so carefully prepared for and get water spots in it... all you gotta do is take a paper towel and some masking tape and tape up the paper towel around all leak-prone areas, and it will catch the water instead of letting it drop onto that meticulously painted panel |
