Exclamation wierd elec prob after timesert

Ok so I timeserted my 4th caddy (2000 Sts vin 9) last week and everything runs great except for some reason when I turn on the IGN switch the front windows roll down and sometimes (or sometimes not) go back up . Also when the won't go back up with switch they won't lock either. Plus no mirror ob left side doesn't work...but sometimes the locks work and windows will go up with switch and mirror works fine...intermittent. I have checked my work and grounds. I am sure all the grounds are on but not sure they were in the exact same place. (like the 2 grounds in front of trans...they are on there but not separated like they were) I just put them both on the same bolt. Seems to be something that always does something to the drivers door. And it Always rolls down the front windows when key gets turned on. Any ideas? Anyone have a ground schematic and location pic??

Re:UPDATE wierd elec prob after timesert

Ok so I checked it all out (didn't Drop carriage ) thought about it for days before my dad brought it back (keep in mind N* timeserts is ALL I did in April! Mine his and a friends ) so thought it through..what would make this happen?? checked pcm pins and those 3 plug ins under fuse box under hood on left unless i put 2 in the wrong place,,,,NOPE all ok..checked all and cleaned every ground i touched when i dropped it and did the drillng of heads (5)and other grounds as well...Nothing helped...so in the end.........it had nothing to do with anything i did....after i checked a few things after much thought i took the window master switch and changed it with mine out of my 02 STS and that is what fixed it...just funny how it happened right after all that work i did. Bottom Line....U better really like turning wrenches if u are going to drive a Cadillac Now days...which I am fortunate to like it quite fine!!!!

Re: wierd elec prob after timesert

It was the fact that I put the trans stud for the left mount bracket in backwards at first (which i reversed as soon as it wouldn't tighten) but the damage had already been done...chalked up for experience!
