What is a geood tool?
To deepen panel lines prior to painting? I saw that rip on a thread and forgot to ask aboit the tool used

Its called a panel scriber. Many companies make them.

Any modelling tools brand has this kind of tool, you'll find them very easily in any hobby shop. If you can put your hands on Mission Models scribing tip set I recommend you to do it, they are fantastic in my opinion.

OR you can made your hown easely.. this is waht I have done for my panel scriber.
You will need an Xacto handle and a GOOD pin needle ( I took the biggest I found in diameter.. cut out the ball at the end of the in, insert the pin in the Xacto and test the length of it. when you got the desire length screw that in place and VOILA you got your pannel scriber. I will post a picture as soon as my camera came back to me.... hope this help |
