Lamborghini was purchased by Chrysler in the late 1980s. Chrysler sold the company to MegaTech (an Indonesian company controlled by Tommy Suharto, the son of General Suharto who was the nation's leader at the time). Audi AG purchase the company in 1998.

i dont get how an american company could be the owner of such a powerful italian industry ot maybe it isnt i dont know i guess money rules
