Re: Alclad II vs. Kosutte Gin San...bye, bye Alclad!
Anyone have an update and/or a place that has this in stock right now? Must be an Asia-only thing, as no places here in the US or Europe have it...

I got mine in the mail last week, I opened it up and checked out the powder, and promptly turned my finger silver..lol. looks like some great stuff. I like how they include a glove and a breathing mask in the kit. Once I get some time at the bench i'll give it a shot.

Can't wait until they produce more and I can get some. The results look great and would work well on some of the 70s F1 cars I'm looking to build... |

My Kosutte has arrived last week. Very nice stuff. The box is too small but is not necessary to much powder to cover big pieces.
Now this paint maker from Brazil has very nice colours. http://www.easycolors.com.br/metalicas.html The metallic colours are amazing. |

HWJapan still hasn't restocked their KGS. I've been checking everyday for the past month, they said they should get another shipment in April/May. Here's to the end of the month!

I'm utterly surprised that no other product I can find is like this. You'd figured if it were this revolutionary there would be knock-offs of the same technology galore... but NO! none that I can find.
Besides that, it's almost impossible to find online, even on strictly Japan only websites. Definitely either a hot commodity or Work just doesn't make enough. |

Re: Alclad II vs. Kosutte Gin San...bye, bye Alclad!
Today I sent a query message to the manufacturer WORK, about the product Kosutte Gin San. This was the response:
▼ お問合せ商品 [こすって銀SUN] ( 商品コード:wk0126 ) I am interested in this product: こすっ て 銀 SUN I want to be notified when the product becomes available. I am very interested. Do you ship to Spain? I have not managed to translate correctly the answer . If there is anyone in the forum is capable of properly translating Japanese text, I would be very grateful. However, there is a product that could be a midpoint between the Alclad II and KosutteGinSan: Apparently, the SPAZ paint provides a good effect: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_72...tm.htm#7590134
