not enough oomph

The new 760iL will be making 402 HP with its V12 engine. Odd they dont try to get more HP out of it.. I m sure the performance will be good but some American SUVs are being made now with more than 350 HP etc so 402 isnt exactly stunning. Whats the new Infiniti have? 380? I know the Infiniti isnt exactly a roadrunner but still... I want more power for my 100 grand

You'd think you would get more that 400 out of a v-12. Man that's kinda poor.

Mate unfortunately not every1 wants big HP I know you want to get bang for your buck but the 760iL and the S600 are not aimed at big hp buyers but affluent people that want a bit of pick up and go to move these big tanks. U will always have Alpina, Brabus, ACS and so on to do these mods. I think 400hp is sufficient. have u driven a V12 especially the 6.0 from MB ? quick enough of me

760i

Sorry, but this information is not right. Iīm coming from Germany and our magazines and BMW wrote that the car will become "more" (!) then 400 hp. "AutoMotorSport" (biggest and best magazine in europe) wrote, that the car will become between 430 and 450 hp. It will get more power then Audi A8 W12 2003 and VW D1 2002 (both 420 hp).

Donīt worry, the 760i with 6-gear-transmission is the fastest car in its class. In this car you will get double I-Drive, Air-Suspension at rear and front (!), EDC-K and some other new features, that are not available at starting of 7-series now.

Otherwise you can wait for the new BMW M5 or the coupe M6. They will reach the 500 hp-level with 5.0-liter V10 at 9000 rpm.

Some more questions ?

Greetings from Germany (and sorry for my terrible English)

Hey, Georg-

Two questions:

1) Where'd you get those pictures? They're awesome.
2) What's that iDrive controller doing in the back seat? Will that be an option on a new 7's, or is that just a custom exhibit?

What do you all think of the new 7? I need to see it in person; the back just isn't working for me yet.
