2002 cavalier blower speed control switch problem

The switch only operates at the highest speed.

Is this a problem where the switch will not work later ?

easy to replace or is there a fix?

sounds like a blower motor resistor. Not a bad job at all but it is a little tight under the dash, expecially if you're not skinny.

Blower resistor as stated above. one bolt is a pain the a$$, i would avoid having any hammers around when you do it as you may want to take your anger out on the car.. lol
