hard shifting
2000 saturn LS-AUTOMATIC
- SOMETIMES SHIFTS HARD INTO GEARS - ONCE IN A WHILE DOESN'T SHIFT INTO NEXT GEAR AND CAR HAS TO BE SHUT OFF AND STARTED AGAIN TRANSMISSION? SENSOR? OR COMPUTER? $$$$$ ? |

Check the main transmisison electrical connector on the top of the valve body cover (stamped steel "pan") for contamination and tightness. Failure of the PWM solenoid circuit can cause full line pressure, and the resultant harsh engagement.

more than likely need a new pc(pressure control) solenoid and new tcm calibration. have codes checked. if it has a p1811 in the tcm, this is what it needs
