Blinker fuse location

Can someone please tell me where the fuse to the blinker is located? I have a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero. My blinkers don't work all the time and I'm wondering if it's just the fuse. Thank you!!

Re: Blinker fuse location

The TURN LPS fuse is located at the driver's side fuse box. Left side of dash. Just remove the fuse panel.

How about your hazard warning lights are they working?

Re: Blinker fuse location

The hazard lights work part of the time too. I tried to figure out the pattern. I think after using the blinkers maybe 10 times they stop working. And then usually after the car sits awhile they'll work again. Weird. I think it gets hot or something and stops working.

Re: Blinker fuse location

It sounds like you have either a defective hazard relay which is also the flasher for the turn signals or an issue with the MFS - Multifunction Switch (turn signals).

GM has a technical service bulletin (TSB) out on the hazard relay which was a recall notice too but only applicable to circa 2001-2002 Aleros I recall. However, the GM fix does not cure a MFS with bad contacts causing a loading down of supply voltage or an electrical short condition.

Re: Blinker fuse location

Do you have any idea how much that would cost to fix if I take it to the shop? Thanks for all your help. I really appreciate it.
