Lotus Omega cartoon
I haven't been posting on this sub-forum here at AMF, I've been more active on the car modeling forum, but here goes, as I also draw pictures of cars.
This is my drawing of a Lotus Omega/Carlton, the fastest production saloon car in the world. First the reference photo I used: The original pencil drawing: As I don't have a scanner, I used my digital camera to photograph the pencil drawing to the computer. Then I draw the picture based on the pencil drawing as vector graphics on iGrafx Designer: This was used as a T-shirt picture with 3 print colors, that's why there is no shading. The final picture after coloring it again now with shades using airbrush technique in iGrafx Image: The original cars were all dark green, so there was no alternative for the color... it had to be green. What do you think? It's not very wild, as this was used for a t-shirt and the web site of the Finnish Opel Club and everybody are supposed to recognize the car... |

You have the rare ability to change the angle of the refrance photo when you draw. Very proportional. Good Work!

Re: Lotus Omega cartoon
shout out to you and everyone else who use some real skill and creativity to do totally new angles from reference photos. its awesome to do it straight from your reference too, but easier. i like it, its cool what you can do when you drop stuff onto a comp.
