Looking to rent car for short film

I'm directing a 35mm short film at the end of February for the festival circuit. The main character drives a slightly beat up muscle car, like a 1968 Chevelle SS or a Barracuda (or something like that). I am looking to find a less than perfect car for the two weekends at the end of February. I can pay $500 and offer full production insurance coverage.

The shoot will take place in the Southern California area. If you want to read the script to get an idea of what happens, you can find it at http://www.JohnParenteau.com, it's called "In & Out".

Thanks.

John

John,

I'll crosspost your request on the nationwide Mopar board I belong to. We have a lot of members in SoCal.

Pete,

Thanks. Nice car as well! You wouldn't want to rent that one to me, would you?

John

John,

If you want to pay to transport it from NJ to Cali, I'm up for it. It might be a little more finished than you're looking for though.

Sweet car, though.

No, too much to transport. ;-)
