89 New Yorker Transmission Oil Cooler problem

My cooler is leaking and I need to replace it. The 1 in there now is 4.5" wide by 24" long. I cant find anything to replace it with those dimensions.

Can I possibly use a different size cooler ??

A few places I have checked out have them but they are smaller.

The car only has 89000 miles on it. Were these a problem on this car and year ??

Thanks in advance for all your help.

John

Aftermarket may be the way to go. Never heard too many problems with the factory coolers but nothing lasts forever.
