Question no heater 2003 2.4 not thermostat

replace thermostat. fan blows, mode door works. got antifreeze. not over heating. it's cold here and unable to drive windsheild fogs up. please help.upper radiator hose is warm lower is not. heater hoses to core are cold also.

If its not overheating, i wouldnt worry about the lower hose. It would overheat if it wasnt circulating. If the heater core hoses are cold, id check for blockage. I bet if you remove the core hoses from where they go in the firewall and connect them together...engine not running of course...with some nipple inside and clamps, they will get hot. If the core is plugged the water will sit in them and not circulate and not get warm. im gonna say you got a plugged core.

You can check that easily by doing what I said. If they stay cool...that would be strange.
