Driving through traffic in Korea

hello, i just wanted to share a video clip from korea
i am the driver and everything is under full control with no harm done to anyone
this kind of driving is quite common in asia and everyone minds their own
i was thinking perhaps this kind of deviant way of the culture could be interesting to those that live in the USA
when cities in asia get too crowded and highways become parking lots, many ppl tend to drive this way and cops dont mind either

Re: Driving through traffic in Korea

Welcome to AF.

Here in U.S. it's called weaving in and out of traffic, or some may call it cutting people off (some people get pissed if you cut them off)... And it's pretty stupid and dangerous, IMO.

I got a question for you, what car are you driving, it sounds pretty nice and catchy...

Re: Driving through traffic in Korea

...i couldnt stand to watch the whole thing...the music was too anoying...

As for the driving... in the bit i watched yo ucut off 10 vehicles by my count, including 3 busses. Nearly rearended 3 cars, and passed on a one lane oncoming ramp and merged into an oncoming ramp to get around a car....
Frankly this sort of driving isnt "cool" in any way. I remember a video of some BMW tryign to keep up with a superbly modded Audi on russian highway and both where cutting off semi's and dump trucks...

ive said ir before ill say it agian.

No matter how slick you are or you think you are, not everyone on the road is that slick or is in a vehicle able to handle such situations with ease.

Re: Driving through traffic in Korea

Don't you guys have empty roads on which you can pull out the dumbness? You will trash your car and possibly end your life if you continue to behave like this.

Why does your profile say you are from Jersey? The car you are driving does sound like an M3 though.

The car sounds nice and all but dude that is in NO WAY cool, I mean obviously when you're driving the car it feels alot safer but no, just aint cool putting yourself and whoever is holding the camera's life in danger.

But yeah we can do that in the US too, just got to watch out for cops, but we got crappy techno/house music here as well and stronger cars than Hyundais..

Re: Driving through traffic in Korea

If Hyundai made cars that sounded and performed like that.

I'd be driving one.

Re: Driving through traffic in Korea

Given the fact that about 1/2 those cars in the video looked to be American, something causes me to doubt that this is "Korean".

and whoever thinks this public death-defying multiple-life-risking shit is cool, is an immature tool.
