12v accessory socket

would like to hook some 12v accessory sockets in rear bed by tailgate,
does anyone know if there 12v supply available or is best to run wiring from battery.

You better run your own dedicated lines from a fuse with adequate rating. Then label the outlets with the fuse rating minus what ever else is on that circuit. Alternatively, you could insert your own in-line fuse on each line separately in an easy to get at location. If you do that, find out the current capability of the wire you use and don't exceed that. Or you can determine the fuse rating you want to use and then get wire that meets or exceeds that current rating. It's a big help if you know the power requirement of the highest drawing accessory you plan on plugging into the outlet.
