1995 Tacoma problem, any ideas?

I have a 1995 tacoma excab 2wd 2rzfe with 268000 miles.
Check engine light code po340. Put on new distributer housing with cam position sensor. That did not fix the problem, same code still there. Cleared it 2 times after new parts. Any body seen this before?
Thanks for you're help.
Matt
Wiring checks out.
Symptoms; 10 mpg drop in gas mileage, Sometimes a stutter at idle, a miss on 1 cylinder at various times, speeds and rpm with a load on the motor.

Have you run the wires to and from the sensor?
