WTB Seatbelts 98 4wd xtra 4 cyl
Hi-
My dog ate my seatbelts...again. Looking to find some seatbelts, preferably gray, which will fit my 98 Tacoma 4wd xtra cab 4 cyl. Anyone have belts or have suggestions? Thanks! Doug |

muzzle the dog while in the truck, or better yet! make him/her ride in the back.

Try a local auto parts salvage/junk yard. Just check that the belts you get didn't come from a vehicle involved in a serious head on type accident. I guess the salvage yards are allowed to sell used belts.

Unfortunately I live on a small island with no wrecking yards. A friend on the mainland has been searching for me but hasn't come up with any so far. Hoping someone might have taken a set out to put in a racing harness or the like. OR if you happen to be wandering through a wrecking yard and see a Tacoma....
As for the muzzle, that will be forthcoming no doubt. We use to leave him in the back, but he figured out he could chew through the screen and escape. Then he figured out how to open the slider. His latest trick is to open one of the back latches and/or head butt the door until it opens enough to squeeze out. This is the same dog that once escaped from friends caring for him and promptly freed every other freeable dog in the neighborhood for a good romp. All this and he is an 11 year old choc lab. Thanks again Doug |
