lower ohms

I have 2 audiobahn svc 4 ohm subs. running a 2 channel amp. If the amp is stable down to 1 ohm, how can i make the amp push at 1 ohm? is this possible?

Not with those subs. I would bridge the amp and run the subs in Parallel.
This will give you a 4 ohm load if im not mistaken. I think thats the lowest you can get with 2 svc 4 ohm subs.

Re: lower ohms

(not tryin to come off the wrong way) but, does it matter? if its 2 channel n can handle the loads. but...is running the amp bridged to 1 terminals +,-, an then runnin a seperate wire to both terminals parallel?

Re: lower ohms

yes it matters, because we don't know if it's 1ohm stereo stable or 1ohm mono stable, or 2ohm mono stable (if it's 1ohm stereo stable then it should be, but I have a feeling that it's Audiobahn and they have no idea how to rate an amp). Some amps also claim to be stable at impedances that they really aren't.

and yes, when both + are connected together and both - are connected together, that's parallel

Re: lower ohms

so you have the amp's + running to the + on VC A, the - on VC A running to the + on VC B, and the - on VC B running to the - on the amp?

that's series

Re: lower ohms

and on single 4 ohm that will give you an 8ohm load...to get a 2ohm load run the (+) on the amp to the (+) on VC-A and (+) VC-B and run the (-) on the amp to the (-) on VC-A and (-) VC-B. this is paralell.
