I love these things. I may be biased on this because I own one and my dad ones one. I love these cars except for the new ones. I don't like the way they look. My fav year is of course my model yesr, 1989. 1988 wasn't bad either because they look the same. Just my $.02.

Towncars are damn cool.. they ride soooo smooth! I like Crown Vics and Grand Marquis as well. Someone could put on a hell of a smoke show with such a car...

I don't like how the towncars look, they're sweet inside, nice ride but i think the styling is too plain it doesn't look like an expensive car

No argument here. Town Cars are, in my opinion, the most underrated car on the face of the earth. You take one look at it and you're thinking "ughnn, that platform is decades old... it doesn't even have IRS", and then you take a ride and it's like having a seat made out of JELL-O, with cushyness to match.

I like the new ones because my grandparents have one, I think, with no offense that there old people cars. Here in CDN they depricate like bikes! A new one runs for 55K CDN and I've seen 99's for as low as 30K.

They are nice cars indeed although I would consider them as near luxury vehicles. They don't quite carry the same prestige as the Lexus, Benz, or Bimmer cars. Then again, they are not as expensive either. These cars are moslty driven by seniors who have money to blow anyways! As for the looks, I actually prefer the newer ones compared to the older. They have a much more aggressive look to them. Personally, I'd take the Lincoln LS over the Town Car.

I'd drive one and I'm not old.
I just went for a ride in a '00 the other day, sunroof open and windows down, stereo kickin'...peels like nothin else (well, some cars)...and that's with the Traction Control ON.

I just picked up a PHAT Towncar , a 1998 Burgandy w/ a black carriage top and burgandy leather interior! It kicks more ass than a B2 over Afganastan....and thats comming from a bavarian motor works fan!!!!!
You can't get a better ride anywhere for the money! a real "pimpin' whip"!:smoka: |
