Eclipse speakers and PPI Amps
So I'm buying this guy's stereo that consists of a pair 6.5" 3 ways, 6.5" components, 2 10" subs (all eclipse ) and 2 ppi amps. Anybody have any oppinions, experience, reviews, or links they could send me that would tell me about how this stuff sizes up? I know eclipse makes good decks but I don't know anything about their speakers

How much? That is very good equipment. Eclipses and PPI are top of the line stuff.

I don't think anyone will believe me if I say but its for $420; $450 if I decide to take the 6-disc changer (but I have an alpine deck)... no they're not Ti but they are the line just below.
Any oppinions of doing a custom mount with 2 sets of comps and the 3 ways on top of the subs? Got these kenwood excellons in there now and would hate to see them go to waste (got them installed 1 week ago). I've seen this done in civics before but didn't know if the 2 brands would sound like poo together.

Use the second set of components in kick panels. It'll sound much better than on top of the subs. That's a good deal, I'd say go for the disc changer too.

right now I'm planning on putting 1 set of comps up front, the 3-ways in with the back seats, and the subs in the hatch. Any opinions on a custom mount for the 2nd set of comps?
BTW: I looked at my last post I meant 'on top of' in the sense of 'in addition to' EDIT: anyone know if I can hook up that eclipse 6-disc to my deck (alpine) even? I thought brands couldn't cross-interface...
