Re: SUBS: Rockford Fosgate PUNCH vs. Audiobahn

DD 99's are limited editions I don't think they make them anymore and XXX's and Brahmas are SQL subs. If all you want is low loud bass go get audiobahn 18's....they have the worst SQ ever but they're loud and low. Now if you care about how your bass sounds get 2 xxx 15's or 2 brahma 15's in a big ported box. Dual SE's or SX's Also get rediculously loud. 2 SE or SX 15's will be more then loud enuff for you.

Re: SUBS: Rockford Fosgate PUNCH vs. Audiobahn

9900's are still in limited produciton as far as i know. very limited and are very sought after by SPL guys. they eat them up and since they dont have to pay for theirs they go through them like a fat kid though candy. then they sell them on Ebay blown and torn apart for $100-300 which puts htem in starbucks moca late's for a while. this also drives the price up to over $1000.
as i said, very limited production. last i checked they are on one month back order. you would be better off buying a blown one in not to bad of shape and sending it to DD to have it reconed and re coiled for a few hundred dollars rather than buying a brand new one. but there are thoes who are willing to wait for something no one else has used.

edit:
screw the audiobahn 18". what about the 36" only a few thousand dollars. it will pound. you and the skull of everyone with in a mile if it where to be properly powered. audiobahn is loud. jsut very in efficent and they sound liek crap. and their surrounds dimple worse than Elemental Designs 12Av2's
