Need clip that hold headlight bulb secure - 95.5 rodeo
Does anyone know where I can get the clip that holds the headlight bulb secure?
If not, what works to make it secure? I am a knucklehead ... don't ask how I lost it. thanks jaris/ABQ |

Have you tried the local scrapyard or junkyard?they usually have Isuzu's...that's if youre close to a junkyard.

I looked it up in my Rodeo parts list and you will not find the metal retaining clip sold separately at the dealer. You must buy the "Lamp Unit" for $84.29. If I were you, I'd go to the local import wrecking yard and pay their yard fee for the part you need. Pick up a few spare fuses and lamps while you are there to make the minimum charge more fair. They should just throw in the extra stuff for "free"...
BTW, how did you lose it? Dale |

thanks for the tip. I was hoping against hope that it would be a $4.95 +s/h item, but o well. Junkyard dog I shall be...
and, to finish my slice of humble pie (how I lost clip): took clip off; put on hood of 89 Toyota Corolla All Trac next to me; decided to go to AutoZone to get the bulb; took All Trac to AutoZone forgetting CLIP WAS ON THE HOOD; clip now flying free in the black hole of stupidity... thanks again jaris/ABQ |
