I do the same only with glue caps, sometimes i miss and get some glue in my mouth. Yummy

One bad habit is i tend to do is build through out the house escpecially in the living room so i can watch tv. Then my g/f finds me asleep on the living room couch with models/parts on the coffee table. And lets not talk about leaving models throughout the house, its a constant battle not to do that.

Oh, how could I forget! I take kits with me to the little modeller's room and they tend to stack up in the corner there, and it's a constant battle with the wife

same for me and guess what I never use any of the stuff I keep but then usually when I figured something else out I remember I could have used the old stuff which would have been perfect for that task...

By the way so far I haven't eaten anything modelling related

Rest things like exato knives, pins/needles, etc on my leg or crotch while I work away!

Re: ...things you probably shouldn't do...

I once was holding a part and needed some glue, but the puddle on my CD was already dry. Since I couldn't put the part I was holding, I got tube of my superglue with my other hand and tried to unscrew the cap with my mouth. The cap was stubborn, so I pushed harder, and it gave up, but made me squeeze the glue tube and I literally glued my lips shut. Couldn't even explain it to my wife, obviously, because I couldn't open my mouth.

PS: Superglue debonder tastes awful.

My worst habit is trying to build anything. I should just leave them alone and admire the boxes - the results would be far better!

me too!
When it was falling it all happened in slow motion. I watched it go the full depth of the blade straight in then it just stood there. Completely vertical.... The blade must have been sharp because it didn't hurt that much but it did bleed and bleed and bleed

Fully agree, but then we wouldnt be here talking about models...

Looks like im not as bad as I thought I was!!! I do most of the things here. Think the worst thing I did was slip a scarple all the way into my thumb when it slipped off the part I was working on. Still havnt learnt that lession, I still sometimes cut toward myself!!

Re: ...things you probably shouldn't do...

I have *really* fast reaction times. I amazed my wife when we first met that if something were falling, I would *always*catch it long before it hit the floor. I guess it's just a talent. However, it can get scary when you try and do this with an xacto knife or a pair of scissors! The force with which my hands hit the object is nothing small and so I really have to think, "DON'T DO THAT!!!!" if I drop something...
