Replacing brake light / rear
Hello,
I need to replace my rear left brake light. In my manual it shows two screws to take off and then remove the whole lens with all three bulbs. I can't find those two screws. The only screws there are the ones holding my tailgate on and the one holding my tailgate belt on (that keeps the tailgate from falling to the bumper.) Does anyone have any experience with this? Any ideas? I can take a picture of it and email it to you within 30 seconds. Please email me directly at jamie_g_richards@yahoo.com. Sincerely, Jamie |

Links to a couple of pictures of the brake lamp
I thought I would put a link to a couple of shots of the brake light so you can see the screws I'm seeing.
If these are the ones I need to remove, fine. I just don't want to remove something I dont' have too. I'm thinking there's got to be something I'm missing. Please advise. here are the links: http://www.texlandpowder.com/nissan/brake1.jpg http://www.texlandpowder.com/nissan/brake2.jpg Thanks for anyone's assistance in this. I desparately need to fix this so I'm legal again! Jamie |

Re: Replacing brake light / rear
Jamie; Search here, go to the M6002 '99 Nissan Fro link, it's the fourth down, It's PDF and I cannot link it directly. On page 190 it shows where the screws are located.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search I assume the black panel I see in the photo is a bed liner. The two screws are under that area. Hope this helps. Clifton |
