Dash trim kit

I found this trim kit on ebay and was wondering if anyone has used them. Are they worth checking out? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...477545665&rd=1

Re: Dash trim kit

I'm white, so I can't wrap. but for 7 bucks I guess it would be ok. vinyl is a hard thing to mess with. you have to be pretty good with it or you can make things look really shitty. (like those people who tint their windows by just sticking it on, instead of wetting it and squeegeing out the bubbles.) so if you do it, just make sure you do it right. personally I think it looks kinda cheesy. but that just my opinion.

Yeah you got to be perfect with it or it will look like shit. Take your time and do it if you get it. Then post pics afterward.

Re: Dash trim kit

Yeah... I think you would have to be pretty good to do that, but for $19 why not? I personally like the painted on look though. If you decide to do it make sure you comment on how it looks when your done.

Re: Dash trim kit

Yeah my brothers is painted to match his car and it looks badass. Its cheaper and easier to paint it than the vinyl kit. Just make sure you primer it and clear coat it. The first time we did it we just sprayed it on and in like a week it was chipped and looking like sh*t. We wiped it off with paint thinner and did it the right way. Its been about a month and it look awsome.

Re: Dash trim kit

Check out this thread.

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...paint+interior

EclipseRST offered to paint the interior pieces of anyone's car for $120 + Shipping. Sounds like a much better deal (and he has a paint booth)
