Finding My Old Mechanic

For the last 10 years of so, I have used a mechanic for my three cars and have been extremely happy with the results. Recently, I passed my the gas station where he rented the garage and the station was closed/abandoned. The garage was cleared out, with no forwarding information. I'm 99% certain that the mechanic is working somewhere else in the area. Unfortunately, in all these years of knowing him, all I know is his first name.

This is in the northern New Jersey area. Does anyone know how I can locate a mechanic? For example, is there a website where mechanics are listed (I haven't been able to find one)? If not, does anybody have a suggestion how I can track down this mechanic? At this stage in my life, I don't want to go thru the process of trying to find a new mechanic. I was very satisfied with everything about this guy's performance.

Thanks.
