Re: Racers.... post your times

90redGT-
pretty damn good mph on a full weight hatch at your rwhp. Work that 60' and lose a few lbs., and I bet you're bottom 12's @ 118ish.

Thanx for posting up!

Re: Racers.... post your times

well, how bout a bike then?

1) 1999 Kawasaki ZRX1100.
2) stock 1052cc motor with forged 8:1 pistons
3) roughly 220 RWHP, turbo'd
4) stock 5 speed tranny and clutch.
5) 18/45
6) 60', 1.9, 1/4 10.4 @ 140mph.
7) nothing special, street tires.
8) little heavier than stock, with me on it, probably 750# or so

I've only been to the strip twice, and I have yet to strap the suspension (which should help greatly). In short I'm new at it and I suck. Bike should be very deep in to the 9's this year with some practice and chasis setup.

Hell yeah.... forgot to add bikes to the mix. Sounds like a tire/better short times and 9.xx's are in the bag-

Good Lawd.... and I thought my junk was fat LOL! Nuthin' wrong w/those times.... do a converter/ gear and a tire for the track and you'll see some drastically improved #'s. Damn nice rwhp/tq #'s for a 4.6 in front of an auto.

Alrighty then. 'Bout time you got serious about drag racing (sorry Chevy )

Glad to see you got the 383 done and the new setup dialed in.
What did you end up doing for induction? TR/2x4?

I too made some changes.... went w/a Rossler built TH400 rmvb on a brake w/a Yank P104(4200 stall speed on motor.... flashes at 4600 on the hose )converter. Lost some weight and uping the hit to 200. May finally get my 1.3x 60' Bisch better go 9's this year.
