Unhappy a/c blower fans only run on high speed

I just bought a 01 caravan sport with the front and rear climate controls. The problem I'm having is BOTH fans only run when the fan controls are at the High position. Having more experience with Generic Motors vehicles, I'm thinking it's the resistor block for the fan controls. Am I right and if so, where are they? Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

Yes, it's likely the resistor block. The front blower resistor block is up behind the glove compartment. Not sure on the rear.

Read through this book of a thread. Might be there somewhere: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=340871

Yeah, it's tough being the most-viewed, most-posted thread in the forum. But hey RIP, think about all the repetitive work it saves you... and all the new poster signups the forum is getting. Good stuff, right?

Here's another labor-saving thread you may wish to bookmark...

Some car/van's use a fuse and relay on the resistor side that protect the circuit.. that control ur low, med/ 2nd med. check ur fuse and relay first for continuit on a digital meter reading. if they read good it has to be ur resistor.. u said ur High contorl works and thats good because its another series circuit, it have a fuse & relay that work..
